บันทึกรายวันและจดหมายของโกษาปาน : เนื้อหาและกลวิธีทางภาษา

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวัตถุประสงค์และเนื้อหาในการเขียนบันทึกรายวันและจดหมายของโกษาปาน กลวิธีทางภาษาในบันทึกรายวันและจดหมายของโกษาปานที่ทำให้การสื่อสารบรรลุเป้าหมาย และเพื่อศึกษาภาพสะท้อนด้านการทูตของโกษาปานในบันทึกรายวันและจดหมายของโกษาปาน เอกสารลายลักษณ์ของโกษาปานที่ใช้ในการศึกษาได้แก่ บันทึกรายวันจำนวน 68 หน้า จดหมายฉบับที่ 1 จำนวน 1 หน้า จดหมายฉบับที่ 2 จำนวน 1 หน้า จดหมายฉบับที่ 3 จำนวน 4 หน้าและจดหมายฉบับที่ 4 จำนวน 23 หน้า ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ด้านวัตถุประสงค์ในการเขียนมี 3 วัตถุประสงค์ ได้แก่ การแจ้งให้ทราบ การโน้มน้าวใจ และการแสดงความรู้สึก ด้านเนื้อหา มีดังนี้ บันทึกรายวัน มีเนื้อหา 2 ส่วน คือ การปฏิบัติภารกิจของคณะราชทูตสยาม และ ข้อมูลทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับประเทศฝรั่งเศส จดหมายฉบับที่ 1 มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคณะราชทูตกับบุคคลต่างๆในฝรั่งเศส และ สัมพันธไมตรีระหว่างสยามกับฝรั่งเศส จดหมายฉบับที่ 2 มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคณะราชทูตกับบุคคลต่างๆในฝรั่งเศสและสัมพันธไมตรีระหว่างสยามกับฝรั่งเศส (ภารกิจระหว่างประเทศ) จดหมายฉบับที่ 3 มีเนื้อหา 2 ส่วน ได้แก่ การมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคณะราชทูตกับบุคคลต่างๆในฝรั่งเศส และ สัมพันธไมตรีระหว่างสยามกับฝรั่งเศส ซึ่งจำแนกได้ 3 ส่วนได้แก่ ข้อพิพาทสยามกับฝรั่งเศสในปี พ.ศ. 2231 การฟื้นฟูความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสยามกับฝรั่งเศส และ การสานสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพระมหากษัตริย์กับพระมหากษัตริย์ จดหมายฉบับที่ 4 มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับสัมพันธไมตรีระหว่างสยามกับฝรั่งเศสซึ่งสามารถจำแนกได้ 4 ส่วน ได้แก่ ข้อพิพาทสยามกับฝรั่งเศสในปี พ.ศ. 2231 ทรรศนะของฝ่ายสยามที่มีต่อฝ่ายฝรั่งเศส ธรรมเนียมกฎหมายของสยามและ ภารกิจระหว่างประเทศ ผลการศึกษาด้านกลวิธีทางภาษา พบ กลวิธีทางภาษาจำนวน 9 วิธี ได้แก่ การบรรยาย การให้รายละเอียดจำแนกได้ 4 ประการ คือ การใช้หน่วยขยาย การระบุเวลา การระบุจำนวน และการให้เหตุผล การเปรียบเทียบ การอ้างอิง การซ้ำ การแทรกบทสนทนา การใช้คำแสดงความรู้สึก การใช้คำแสดงความยกย่องให้เกียรติ และการใช้คำแสดงการขอร้อง ภาพสะท้อนด้านการทูตของโกษาปาน คือ คุณสมบัติทางการทูตที่สะท้อนจากการใช้กลวิธีทางภาษาของโกษาปาน อันจำแนกคุณสมบัติได้ 6 ประการ ได้แก่ มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาและมีทักษะในการปฏิสัมพันธ์ มีความเข้าใจขนบธรรมเนียมของผู้ที่มีปฏิสัมพันธ์ด้วย มีความน่าเชื่อถือ มีความละเอียดรอบคอบและช่างสังเกต มีทักษะทางจิตวิทยา และ มีความจงรักภักดี This thesis aims to study the purposes and content of KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters, the language techniques in KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters which fulfill the conversation’s goal, and the KOSĀ PĀN’s reflection of diplomatic ways in KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters. The KOSĀ PĀN’s archival materials were used in this study: 68-page Journal, 1-page First letter, 1-page Second letter, 4-page Third letter and 23-page Fourth letter. The results show that there are 3 purposes of Communication: to inform, to persuade, and to express feelings. The contents in KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters are as follows. The journal concerns with the action of Diplomatic Representative and Information about France. First letter illustrates the interaction with others and the relationship between Siam and France. Second letter depicts the interaction with others and the relationship between Siam and France: the international missions. Third letter describes the interaction with others and the relationship between Siam and France: the disputes between Siam and France (2231), the restoration of the relationship between Siam and France and the relationship between the King of Siam and the King of France. Finally, Fourth letter portrays the relationship between Siam and France: the disputes between Siam and France (2231), the Siam’s attitude about France, the traditional law of Siam and the international missions There are 9 language techniques in KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters: narrative speech, had 4 types of giving detail: modifier words, timing words, quantity words and reasoning; comparison, quotation, reiteration, conversations, emotional expressions, respect words and request words The reflection of diplomacy in KOSĀ PĀN’s journal and letters was the property of diplomacy which can be divided into 6 types: good speech and good interaction, understanding other traditions, being cautious and observant, being reliable, having psychological skill and loyalty.
