Abstract

The human period was changed with passing time, culture, tradition and belief which is what human being in very long time ago. The belief that I am about to mention is the "tattoo". It was originated from the belief of many human races in the world. Each races use the tattoo in order to tell the different stories. In Thailand, the tattoo is influenced go back to the antiquity which named that "Sak Yant". It is generally impressed to purpose as the superstition such as having them on one's body can bring a good luck and protecting from all dangers. The person who has the tattoo must comply in a good behavior and moral. If it were otherwise, the tattoo does not mean to anything and leave just trace on the body. Presently, the value of tattoo is a matter by the new generation who agree with the beauty of the body art. Sometimes they was accused in the negative aspects as the symbol of criminality or all vices. Accordingly, the above is the suspicion that those with tattoos are related firstly. Many people do not know that how long do they have to put up with.

I am the another one of the people who get directly effects by this condition. Because my physical appearance has the tattoo, I was accused and impose by the individual opinions. It seem likes the tattoo process, using a shape tool and insert amount of ink into the skin. These thing were also the inspiration to create the thesis "Stamp" by using the woodcut process: realistic. Throughout the relief process and the layers of printmaking, I use my body which was imprint with the other's accusations as the massage to represent as all of my feeling at the time.

ยุคสมัยของมนุษย์เปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามกาลเวลา วัฒนธรรม ประเพณีและความเชื่อเป็นสิ่งที่อยู่คู่กับมนุษย์มาอย่างช้านาน ความเชื่อที่ข้าพเจ้ากำลังจะกล่าวถึงนั้นคือเรื่อง “รอยสัก” การสักมีจุดกำเนิดจากหลายเชื่อชาติหลายเผ่าพันธุ์ในโลก แต่ละพื้นที่ใช้การสักในการบอกเล่าเรื่องราวที่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนในประเทศไทยการสักได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากสมัยโบราณเรียกเป็นชื่อการสักว่าการสักยันต์ การสักยันต์มีจุดประสงค์ในเรื่องความเชื่อทางไสยศาสตร์ เช่น จะทำให้มีโชคมีลาภ แคล้วคลาดจากภัยอันตรายใด ๆ ที่จะมาสู่ร่างกาย บุคคลที่จะมีสิทธิในการสักได้ต้องเป็นผู้ที่อยู่ในกฎระเบียบและในศีลในธรรม เพราะการสักยันต์ต้องปฏิบัติตามข้อบังคับอย่างเคร่งคัด มิฉะนั้นแล้วของที่สักไปก็จะไม่มีความหมายเหลือทิ้งไว้แค่ร่องรอยที่ร่างกายเพียงอย่างเดียว ปัจจุบันการสักเกิดจากค่านิยมของคนสมัยใหม่ที่เห็นการสักเป็นเรื่องของความสวยงามบนร่างกายเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ความสวยงามบนร่างกายนี้กลับถูกผู้อื่นในสังคมกล่าวหาเกี่ยวกับความไม่เหมาะสมทางเรื่องพฤติกรรม การใช้ความรุนแรง การพนัน ยาเสพติด ที่กล่าวมานั้นเป็นข้อหาที่ผู้มีรอยสักจะถูกโยงเข้าไปเป็นอันดับแรก โดยที่ไม่รู้ว่าบุคคลพวกนี้ต้องทนอยู่กับความรู้สึกแบบนี้ไปอีกนานแค่ไหน

ข้าพเจ้าเป็นอีกหนึ่งคนที่ได้รับผลกระทบโดยตรงจากเหตุการณ์นี้ ด้วยลักษณะทางกายภาพของข้าพเจ้าก็มีรอยสัก จึงถูกผู้อื่นกล่าวหาและยัดเยียดความคิดเห็นส่วนตัวของบุคคลเหล่านั้นเข้ามาใส่ตัวข้าพเจ้า เปรียบเสมือนการถูกผู้อื่นใช้ข้อความหรือถอยคำต่าง ๆ มากดทับให้ติดลงไปไปบนร่างกายเหมือนการถูกสัก จึงเป็นที่มาของแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานรูปแบบภาพเหมือนจริงและจินตนาการ สร้างสรรค์ด้วยกระบวนการภาพพิมพ์เทคนิคแกะไม้ (Woodcut) โดยใช้ร่างกายของข้าพเจ้าที่ถูกข้อความมากมาย เกิดจากความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่นประทับลงไปยังร่างกายโดยใช้ร่องรอยของการแกะไม้ผสมกับการทับซ้อนน้ำหนักของการพิมพ์ เพื่อบ่งบอกถึงอารมณ์ความรู้สึกของข้าพเจ้าที่กำลังประสบอยู่ในขณะนี้
