GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING A PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITYIN SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN THE VIBHAVADI ACADEMIC GROUP, BANGKOK

Abstract

The aims were to study: 1) the professional learning community level in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok, 2) the factors affecting the professional learning community in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok, 3) the guidelines for developing a professional learning community in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok. Methodology was the mixed methods research that collecting data in quantitative methods and qualitative methods. The sample group consisted of 270 teachers in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok, and 10 key informants. The research instruments were a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The data were analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, multiple regression by stepwise, and Content Analysis.

The study show that:

1) The professional learning community level in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok was at the high level.

2) All of factors that consist: the leadership, the organizational culture, the instructor, and the organizational climate could predict the professional learning community in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok on the percentage of 73.6 at the statistical significance .01.

3) The guidelines for developing a professional learning community in secondary schools in the Vibhavadi academic group, Bangkok that consist: there are perfect partnerships and liberty organizational structure, clearly leadership management policy, and the teachers’ understanding in professional learning community.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ระดับการเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร 2) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร 3) แนวทางการพัฒนาชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสานวิธี (Mixed Methods) เก็บข้อมูลทั้งเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Methods) และข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ (Quanlitative Methods) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ข้าราชการครูและบุคลากรโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 270 คน โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบชั้นภูมิ (Stratified random sampling) และผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักในการสัมภาษณ์ (Key Informants) จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในเก็บข้อมูลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง (Semi-Structured interview) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าความถี่ (Frequency) ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation) ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของ Pearson (Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient) การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ (Multiple Regression by Stepwise) และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า :

1) ระดับการเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร มีค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก

2) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพ ได้แก่ ด้านภาวะผู้นำ ด้านวัฒนธรรมองค์กร ด้านครูผู้สอน และด้านบรรยากาศองค์กร ส่งผลต่อการเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร ร้อยละ 73.6 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

3) แนวทางการพัฒนาชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี กรุงเทพมหานคร ได้แก่ โครงสร้างองค์กรที่มีเครือข่ายการสนับสนุนที่ดี มีเสรีภาพ การบริหารจัดการของฝ่ายบริหารที่ชัดเจน และความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ทางวิชาชีพของครู
