ADMINISTRATOR’S LEADERSHIP TRAITS AND MANAGEMENTIN THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER UNDER THE MUNICIPALITYIN RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of research were to determine 1) Administrator’s leadership traits of child development center under the municipality in Ratchaburi province, 2) Child development center administration under the municipality in Ratchaburi province, and 3) The relationship between administrator’s leadership traits and child development center administration under the municipality in Ratchaburi province. Sample consisted of 56 the child development center under the municipality in Ratchaburi province. The respondents were a head of the child development center and a teacher/child caregiver. Total of 112 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Analysis data by frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

The results of this research revealed that:

1. Administrator’s leadership traits of child development center under the municipality in Ratchaburi province. Generally, was found at the high level. When considered each aspect, one aspect was found at the highest level: task-related characteristics and 5 were found at the high level: intelligence and ability, physical characteristics, social background and social characteristics, and personality.

2.. Child development center administration under the municipality in Ratchaburi province. Generally, was found at the high level. When considered each aspect, all of aspect were found at a high level: promotion Involvement of family and community, Management to promote health and learning. personnel management, Safety Environment Management, and systematic management.

3. The relationship between administrator’s leadership traits and child development center administration under the municipality in Ratchaburi province was found at .01 level of statistical significance.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบ 1) คุณลักษณะผู้นำของผู้บริหารศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี 2) การบริหารจัดการศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี 3) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคุณลักษณะผู้นำของผู้บริหารกับการบริหารจัดการศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กสังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี จำนวน 56 ศูนย์ มีผู้ให้ข้อมูลศูนย์ละ 2 คน ประกอบด้วย ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่หัวหน้าศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก และ ครู/ผู้ดูแลเด็ก รวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 112 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็น จำนวน 1 ฉบับ สถิติที่ใช้คือ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่ามัชณิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. คุณลักษณะผู้นำของผู้บริหารศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดจำนวน 1 ด้าน คือ ด้านคุณลักษณะ ที่เกี่ยวกับงาน และอยู่ในระดับมากจำนวน 5 ด้าน เรียงค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตจากมากไปน้อย ได้ดังนี้ ด้านสติปัญญาและความสามารถ ด้านคุณลักษณะทางกาย ด้านภูมิหลังทางสังคม ด้านคุณลักษณะทางสังคม และด้านบุคลิกภาพตามลำดับ

2. การบริหารจัดการศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กสังกัดเทศบาล ในจังหวัดราชบุรี โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า อยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน เรียงค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตจากมากไปน้อย ดังนี้ ด้านการส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของครอบครัวและชุมชน ด้านการจัดการเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการเรียนรู้ด้านการบริหารจัดการบุคลากรทุกประเภทตามหน่วยงานที่สังกัด ด้านการบริหารจัดการสภาพแวดล้อมเพื่อความปลอดภัย และด้านการบริหารจัดการอย่างเป็นระบบ ตามลำดับ

3. คุณลักษณะผู้นำของผู้บริหารมีความสัมพันธ์กับการบริหารจัดการศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดเทศบาลในจังหวัดราชบุรี ในระดับปานกลางอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
