THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL AND CROSS CULTURAL SKILLS SCALE FOR UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop and validate The development of social and cross cultural skills scale for upper secondary school students and 2) to construct local norms of the development of social and cross cultural skills scale for upper secondary school students. The simple of this study was 800 upper secondary school students who have been studying at Office of the Basic Education Commission Nakhonpathom Province, academic year 2022, using two-stage random sampling. The data collected by 5 rating scale this test 36 items for consists of 4 factors 9 indicators, 1) Interactions with others 3 indicators 2) Communication with others 2 indicators 3) Social and Cultural Awareness with others 2 indicators and 4) Self-management with others 2 indicators. Data were analyzed by content validity, discriminating power of the high group and the low group was determined by t-test, Reliability to Measure of internal consistency from Cronbach's alpha coefficient, construct validity and Normalized T-score. The research findings were:

1. The quality of scale were as follows: (1) The content analysis by IOC were between 0.60 to 1.00. (2) The discrimination analysis showed this developed scale could discriminate at .05 level of statistical significance. (3) The reliability (∝) of the scale was .918 and the factors of it were between .885 to .908. (4) The construct validity analysis found the consistence to the empirical data.

2. The development of norms for score translation base on Normalized T-score in the range of T18-T74

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาและตรวจสอบคุณภาพของแบบวัดทักษะทางสังคมและการเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และ 2) เพื่อหาเกณฑ์ปกติระดับท้องถิ่น (Local Norms) ของแบบวัดทักษะทางสังคมและการเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ตัวอย่างในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 800 คน โรงเรียนสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (สพฐ.) ในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษานครปฐม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 โดยใช้การสุ่มแบบสองขั้นตอน เครื่องมือวิจัยที่พัฒนาขึ้นเป็นแบบวัดมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ จำนวน 36 ข้อคำถาม ประกอบด้วย 4 องค์ประกอบ 9 ตัวบ่งชี้ ได้แก่ องค์ประกอบที่ 1 การมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้อื่น จำนวน 3 ตัวบ่งชี้, องค์ประกอบที่ 2 การติดต่อสื่อสาร จำนวน 2 ตัวบ่งชี้, องค์ประกอบที่ 3 การตระหนักรู้ทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม จำนวน 2 ตัวบ่งชี้ และองค์ประกอบที่ 4 การจัดการตนเอง จำนวน 2 ตัวบ่งชี้ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย ความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา ค่าอำนาจจำแนกรายข้อระหว่างกลุ่มสูงและกลุ่มต่ำด้วยสถิติทดสอบที (t-test) ค่าความเที่ยงแบบความสอดคล้องภายในด้วยวิธีสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาค ความตรงเชิงโครงสร้าง และการหาเกณฑ์ปกติ ในรูปแบบของคะแนนมาตรฐานทีปกติ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลการตรวจสอบคุณภาพของแบบวัด พบว่า (1) ความตรงเชิงเนื้อหามีค่า IOC อยู่ระหว่าง 0.60-1.00, (2) ข้อคำถามสามารถจำแนกกลุ่มสูงและกลุ่มต่ำอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ทุกข้อ, (3) แบบวัดมีค่าความเที่ยงทั้งฉบับ .918 โดยมีค่าความเที่ยงขององค์ประกอบอยู่ระหว่าง .885-.908, (4) แบบวัดที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความตรงเชิงโครงสร้าง

2. ผลการสร้างเกณฑ์ปกติจากการวิเคราะห์ด้วยคะแนนมาตรฐาน T ปกติ อยู่ในช่วง T18 – T74
