THE DEVELOPMENT OF NONFICTION WRITING ABILITYOF MATHAYOMSUKSA 4 STUDENTS BY USING GENRE-BASED LEARNING COMBINED WITH ROUND TABLE TECHNIQUES

Abstract

The purpose of the research were to 1) study the development of non-fiction writing of mathayomsuksa 4 students between learning by genre-based learning combined with roundtable techniques and 2) study the mathayomsuksa 4 students’ opinion toward the genre-based learning combined with roundtable techniques. The sample consisted of 31 students from mathayomsuksa 4 room 131 who are studying writing subject TH31201, semester 1 in academic year 2023 at Patumwan Demonstration School, obtained by cluster sampling using classroom as a random unit.

The instrument used for research were 1) the four of non-fiction writing teaching plan, 2) Nonfiction writing ability test and 3) A questionnaire used to study students’ opinions about learning. The data was analyzed by mean (M), standard deviation (SD) and repeated measures ANOVA.

The results showed that

1. The non-fiction writing ability of mathayomsuksa 4 students increased in every measurement, statistically significant at .05 level.

2. The opinions of mathayomsuksa 4 students towards the genre-based Learning combined with roundtable techniques were in the highest level (M = 4.55, SD = 0.46)

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาพัฒนาการความสามารถในการเขียนสารคดีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ระหว่างการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดอรรถฐานร่วมกับเทคนิคการเขียนรอบวง และ 2) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดอรรถฐานร่วมกับเทคนิคการเขียนรอบวง กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ห้อง 131 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ ปทุมวัน ที่กำลังศึกษารายวิชา ท31201 การเขียน ประจำภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2566 จำนวน 31 คน ได้มาด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Sampling) โดยใช้ห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยสุ่ม

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้เรื่องการเขียนสารคดี จำนวน 4 แผน 2) แบบวัดความสามารถในการเขียนสารคดี และ 3) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต (M) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (SD) และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนเมื่อมีการวัดซ้ำ (Repeated Measures ANOVA)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ความสามารถในการเขียนสารคดีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 สูงขึ้นในทุกครั้งของการวัด อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีความคิดเห็นต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดอรรถฐานร่วมกับเทคนิคการเขียนรอบวงในระดับดีมาก (M = 4.55, SD = 0.46)
