dc.description.abstractThe Research was aimed 1)to study the current situation of sports tourism to improve the emotional quotient of HuangHuai university students.2)To development a model of sports tourism to improve the emotional quotient of the HuangHuai University students.3)To evaluate the feasibility a model of sports tourism to improve the emotional quotient of the HuangHuai University students.This research used a research and development process with mixed research methods. According to Krejcie and Morgan (1970), the questionnaire was administered to a sample of 400 students and a sample of 290 teachers. Purposive sampling was used 8 students and 8 leaders were selected for interviews as well as 8 teachers participate in focus group discussions. Quantitative research through frequency and percentage analysis, qualitative research through textual analysis. The results of the study found that 1)University students participate in sports tourism for a variety of motives, including strengthening the body, seeking excitement and relieving pressure. Prefer spectator, leisure and fitness, and competitive tourism. Decision-making is influenced by economic accommodation, network publicity, and consideration of geographic location, price and other factors. Consumption of major expenditures in transportation, food, accommodation, promotional videos are important. Travel more collectively, preference for train, high-speed rail, car, spring and fall, summer vacation, holiday travel, choose near destinations. Academic, economic, and health are key influencing factors. Improving emotional management and coping skills are effective measures.2) results of development of a model of sports tourism to improve the emotional quotient of HuangHuai University students. Includes 1. Motivation 2. Preferences 3. Decision-making behavior 4. Temporal and spatial choice behavior 5. Travel mode 6. Consumption behavior 7. Influence factors. 3) The results of the model evaluation found that the model has an important role to improve university students emotional quotient.en
