EFFECTS OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT USING GEO-INQUIRY ON SPATIAL LITERACY AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS GEOGRAPHY STUDIES OF UPPER SECONDARY STUDENTS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare the spatial Literacy of students in the eleventh grade before and after learning management using the geographical inquiry process. 2) compare attitudes towards geography education of eleventh grade before and after, learning is organized using the geographical inquiry process. The sample group used in the research was 38 students in the upper secondary students level using the cluster random sampling method, semester 1, academic year 2024, Streesmutprakan School, Samut Prakan province. The research tools consisted of a lesson plan using the geo-inquiry, spatial literacy evaluation form and attitude evaluation form on geographical studies. The data was analyzed by arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent.

The research findings were summarized as follows:

1. The spatial literacy of students in the upper secondary students level is managed to learn by using the process of geo-inquiry after studying higher than before studying at .05 level of significance.

2. The attitude towards geography education of students in the upper secondary students level has been managed to learn using the geo-inquiry after studying higher than before studying at .05 level of significance.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบความฉลาดรู้เชิงพื้นที่ของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะทางภูมิศาสตร์ 2) เปรียบเทียบเจตคติต่อการศึกษาภูมิศาสตร์ของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะทางภูมิศาสตร์ ตัวอย่างการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/4 จำนวน 38 คน ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2567 โรงเรียนสตรีสมุทรปราการ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แผนหน่วยการจัดการเรียนรู้ภูมิศาสตร์โดยใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะทางภูมิศาสตร์ แบบวัดความฉลาดรู้เชิงพื้นที่ และแบบวัดเจตคติต่อการศึกษาภูมิศาสตร์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และทดสอบค่าทีแบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน

ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้

1. ความฉลาดรู้เชิงพื้นที่ของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะทางภูมิศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2. เจตคติต่อการศึกษาภูมิศาสตร์ของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะทางภูมิศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
