THE DEVELOPING ACTIVITY MODELS TO CREATE THE TOURISM EXPERIENCE THROUGH STORYTELLING FROM NATIVE THAI CRAFT LIQUOR: A CASE STUDY OF NATIVE THAI CRAFT LIQUOR IN BAN KLUAI SUB-DISTRICT, MUEANG SUKHOTHAI DISTRICT, SUKHOTHAI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research study aims 1. to explore the situation of distillery in Sukhothai Province, 2. to analyze the potential of distillery to be ready to accommodate tourist, 3. to presents the concept of developing activity models to create the tourism experience through storytelling from native Thai craft liquor and 4. to evaluate the activity models to create the tourism experience through storytelling from native Thai craft liquor, the case study of native Thai craft liquor In Ban Kluai Sub-District, Mueang Sukhothai District, Sukhothai Province. The research using Mixed Method Research which in dept interview and focus group with 16 key informants who work related with native Thai craft liquor and then reach to Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis from 400 tourists who travel around Sukhothai Province and use the service of Sukhothai Bicycle Tour.

Result found that developing an activity model to create a tourism experience through stories from native Thai craft liquor presented in 4 activities; 1. Cycling activities to visit the area around the distillery 2. Learning and practicing activities in the production of native Thai craft liquor 3. Tasting activities of native Thai craft liquor along with local food and 4. Talking and sipping native Thai craft liquor with stories to create results of tourist experiences in 3 areas: 1. Entertainment 2. Education and 3. Esthetics. The potential of distilled native Thai craft entrepreneurs that need to be developed to prepare to become tourism destination in 3 areas; 1. Tourism Activity 2. Amenity and 3. Local Tour Guide and Implementation. The distilled native Thai craft entrepreneurs or communities that have their own beverage products can apply the activity model to plan or set policies to improve the tourism activity or beverage products as the main component of tourism.

การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1. เพื่อศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐานของผู้ประกอบการสุรากลั่นชุมชนของจังหวัดสุโขทัย 2. เพื่อวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบของศักยภาพและความพร้อมในการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวผ่านเรื่องเล่าจากสุรากลั่นชุมชนของผู้ประกอบการสุรากลั่นชุมชน 3. เพื่อสร้างและประเมินรูปแบบกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวผ่านเรื่องเล่าจากสุรากลั่นชุมชน และ 4. เพื่อประเมินรูปแบบกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวผ่านเรื่องเล่าจากสุรากลั่นชุมชน กรณีศึกษาสุรากลั่นชุมชน ตำบลบ้านกล้วย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุโขทัย เป็นการวิจัยด้วยเทคนิคการผสมผสาน (Mixed Method Research) เก็บข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การสนทนากลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการผลิตสุรากลั่นชุมชนและการท่องเที่ยวเชิงประสบการณ์ของจังหวัดสุโขทัยจำนวน 16 คน จากนั้นเข้าสู่การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงสำรวจ (Exploratory Factor Analysis) เพื่อจัดกลุ่มตัวแปรการได้รับประสบการณ์จากกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยว และตรวจสอบความเที่ยงตรงของตัวแปรด้วยการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) จากนักท่องเที่ยวที่ท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดสุโขทัยและใช้บริการบริษัทนำเที่ยว Sukhothai Bicycle Tour จำนวน 400 คน

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การพัฒนารูปแบบกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์การท่องเที่ยวผ่านเรื่องเล่าจากสุรากลั่นชุมชนนำเสนอใน 4 กิจกรรม ได้แก่ 1. กิจกรรมปั่นจักรยานเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่รอบโรงกลั่นสุราชุมชน 2. กิจกรรมเรียนรู้และลงมือปฏิบัติในการผลิตสุรากลั่นชุมชน 3. กิจกรรมชิมสุรากลั่นชุมชนควบคู่กับอาหารท้องถิ่น และ 4. กิจกรรมพูดคุยจิบสุราพร้อมเรื่องเล่า เพื่อสร้างผลลัพธ์ของการได้รับประสบการณ์ของนักท่องเที่ยวใน 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1. การได้รับความบันเทิง 2. การได้รับความรู้ และ 3. การเกิดสุนทรียศาสตร์ ศักยภาพของผู้ประกอบการสุรากลั่นชุมชนที่จะต้องพัฒนาเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมมี 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1. ด้านกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยว 2. ด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก 3. ด้านบุคลากรการท่องเที่ยวและการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน ผู้ประกอบการสุรากลั่นชุมชนหรือชุมชนที่มีผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องดื่มเป็นของตนเองสามารถนำรูปแบบกิจกรรมไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อวางแผนหรือกำหนดนโยบายในการยกระดับมาตรฐานการท่องเที่ยวที่มีสุรากลั่นชุมชนหรือผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องดื่มเป็นองค์ประกอบหลักในการท่องเที่ยวต่อไปได้
