การศึกษาวิเคราะห์หนังสือประชุมสุภาษิตสันสกฤต (200 โศลก) เล่มที่ 1

Abstract

การค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์การใช้ภาษาและคำสอนต่าง ๆ จากสุภาษิตสันสกฤตที่ปรากฏในหนังสือประชุมสุภาษิตสันสกฤต (200 โศลก) เล่มที่ 1 ที่เป็นหนังสือรวบรวมสุภาษิตสันสกฤตตัดตอนมาจากแหล่งที่มาแตกต่างกันจำนวน 200 โศลก ปริวรรตและแปลเป็นภาษาไทยโดยพระสุธีธรรมานุวัตร ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาวิเคราะห์การใช้ภาษาในสุภาษิตทั้งหมด ครอบคลุมเรื่องไวยากรณ์และวรรณศิลป์ ประกอบกับการศึกษาวิเคราะห์คำสอนที่ได้จากสุภาษิตและนำมาจัดหมวดหมู่คำสอนเพื่อให้เข้าใจง่าย ตลอดจนศึกษาวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนที่ปรากฏในสุภาษิต ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สุภาษิตสันสกฤตในหนังหนังสือเล่มนี้ประพันธ์ขึ้นด้วยภาษาสันสกฤตแบบแผน หรือภาษาสันสกฤตมาตรฐานที่มีไวยากรณ์สอดคล้องตามหลักปาณินิ สุภาษิตส่วนใหญ่มีลักษณะเป็นกาวยะขนาดสั้นแบบอนุษฏุภฉันท์ หรือโศลกทำให้สะดวกต่อการจดจำและถ่ายทอดด้วยวิธีมุขปาฐะ มีการใช้คำศัพท์อย่างง่าย ให้ความหมายชัดเจนตรงไปตรงมา เช่นเดียวกับการใช้ภาษาที่เรียบง่าย ไม่มีความซับซ้อนทางไวยากรณ์มาก โดยมีการใช้คำกริยาอาขยาตหมวดลฏฺ ปัจจุบันกาลมากที่สุด ทำให้สุภาษิตมีความร่วมสมัยสามารถใช้สอนได้ตลอดเวลา มีการใช้กริยากฤต คำสรรพนาม รวมไปถึงคำอวยยศัพท์ที่ช่วยทำให้สุภาษิตมีความหมายชัดเจนมากยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังพบการใช้อลังการเพื่อความไพเราะ ได้แก่ ศัพทาลังการ และอรรถาลังการที่พบมากถึง 13 ประเภท ภาพรวมของคำสอนจากสุภาษิตในหนังสือประชุมสุภาษิตสันสกฤต (200 โศลก) เล่มที่ 1 มุ่งเน้นการปฏิบัติตนในชีวิตประจำวันตามหลักคุณธรรมต่าง ๆ รวมไปถึงการดูแลสุขภาพร่างกายเพื่อความสุขและความสมบูรณ์ของชีวิตในภายภาคหน้า คำสอนที่พบครอบคลุมหลักปฏิบัติทั้งทางกาย วาจา ใจ ได้แก่ คำสอนเรื่องการศึกษาหาความรู้ คำสอนเรื่องทรัพย์ คำสอนเรื่องลักษณะคน คำสอนเรื่องการคบมิตร คำสอนเรื่องการครองเรือน คำสอนเรื่องการพูด คำสอนเรื่องคุณธรรม คำสอนเรื่องสุขภาพร่างกาย โดยคำสอนเหล่านี้ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการศึกษาหาความรู้ในสังคมอินเดีย อายุรเวท และความเชื่อเรื่องต่าง ๆ อีกด้วย This independent study aims to analyze language use and teachings in Sanskrit Subhāṣita appearing in Subhāṣita Saṃgraha (200 Slokas) Vol. I. The book contains 200 Slokas of Sanskrit Subhāṣita excerpts from different sources, interpreted and translated into Thai by Phra Suthee Thammanuwat. The researcher analyzed the language use of all Sanskrit Subhāṣita covering grammar and literature along with teachings and categorized the teachings into categories so it was easy to understand. The researcher also analyzed reflection in the Sanskrit Subhāṣita. The results showed that the Sanskrit Subhāṣita appearing in this book was written through classical Sanskrit or standard Sanskrit using grammar consistent to Pāṇini principle. Most Sanskrit Subhāṣita was short Kāvya in Anuṣṭup or Slokas which was easy to remember and passed on by oral method. The Sanskrit Subhāṣita contained simple vocabulary words with direct meanings. The language use was simple with uncomplicated grammar. The most frequently used verb was the indicative verb form (laṭ) in present tense, making the Sanskrit Subhāṣita contemporary and could be used in teaching at all times. The participle verb form, pronouns and indeclinable were used to clarify the meanings. Furthermore, Alaṃkāra was applied for gentility including Śabdālaṃkāra and 13 types of Arthālaṃkāra. In overall, the teachings in Subhāṣita Saṃgraha (200 Slokas) Vol. I focused on practices in daily life according to moral principles and health care that maintained happiness and completeness of life in the future. The teachings covered physical, verbal and mental expressions including learning, property, people characteristics, verbal expression, moral and health. The teachings reflected learning in Indian society, therapy and belief also
