THE GUIDELINES FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION DEVELOPMENT OF SATHAPORNWITTAYA SCHOOL

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to examine the academic administration of Sathapornwittaya School and to identify approaches for its further development. The population consisted of 35 personnel from Sathapornwittaya School, including the school director, deputy directors, teachers (excluding the researcher), members of the basic education committee, and members of the parents’ network committee. The research instrument was a questionnaire on academic administration, developed based on the concepts of the Office of the Basic Education Commission. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The findings of this study were as follows

1. The overall level of academic administration at Sathapornwittaya School was rated as high. When considering each aspect, two areas were rated at the highest level: (1) development of the internal quality assurance system and educational standards, and (2) management of teaching and learning within the institution. The remaining 15 aspects were rated at a high level.

2. Seventeen approaches for improving academic administration were identified. These included: 2.1 analyzing the community’s conditions and needs to establish the school’s vision, mission, and goals; 2.2 serving as a community learning center; 2.3 encouraging teachers to use research processes to enhance learning achievement; 2.4 updating curricula and subject content in accordance with global changes; 2.5 integrating research into teaching and learning; 2.6 evaluating and improving assessment tools; 2.7 developing a research database; 2.8 establishing partnerships with international schools; 2.9 promoting teachers’ roles in supervision; 2.10 providing training in psychology and student guidance; 2.11 forming an internal quality assurance committee; 2.12 creating a local knowledge information network; 2.13 encouraging alumni involvement; 2.14 developing community learning spaces within the school; 2.15 reviewing and improving academic regulations; 2.16 providing supplementary learning materials for both core and elective subjects; and 2.17 improving the library environment to support student and community learning.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบ 1) การบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา 2) แนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา ประชากร คือ บุคลากรของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 35 คน จำแนกเป็น ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน จำนวน 1 คน รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน จำนวน 1 คน ครู จำนวน 17 คน คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน จำนวน 7 คน และคณะกรรมการเครือข่ายผู้ปกครองนักเรียน จำนวน 9 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับ การบริหารงานวิชาการ ตามแนวคิดของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และแบบบันทึก การสนทนากลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์ ความถี่ ร้อยละ มัชฌิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. การบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา โดยภาพรวมอยู่ระดับ มาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า การบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา อยู่ในระดับ มากที่สุด จำนวน 2 ด้าน โดยเรียงลำดับค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตจากมากไปหาน้อย ได้ดังนี้ การพัฒนาระบบประกันคุณภาพภายใน และมาตรฐานการศึกษา และการจัดการเรียนการสอนในสถานศึกษา และอยู่ในระดับ มาก จำนวน 15 ด้าน

2. แนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนสถาพรวิทยา มี 17 แนวทางดังนี้ 2.1 วิเคราะห์สภาพ และความต้องการของชุมชน เพื่อกำหนดวิสัยทัศน์ พันธกิจ และเป้าหมายของสถานศึกษา 2.2 เป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้ของชุมชน 2.3 กำหนดให้ครูใช้กระบวนการวิจัยพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน 2.4 ปรับปรุงหลักสูตร และเนื้อหาวิชาให้สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของประชาคมโลก 2.5 กำหนดให้ครูใช้การวิจัยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการจัดการเรียนการสอน 2.6 มีการตรวจสอบและประเมินผลคุณภาพการใช้เครื่องมือในการวัด และประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ 2.7 จัดทำฐานข้อมูลการรวบรวม และเผยแพร่ผลการวิจัย 2.8 สร้างเครือข่ายร่วมมือกับโรงเรียนในต่างประเทศ 2.9 ให้ครูทุกคนมีบทบาทในการนิเทศ 2.10 จัดอบรมการใช้หลักการทางจิตวิทยา และการแนะแนวสำหรับนักเรียน 2.11 จัดตั้งคณะกรรมการประเมินคุณภาพภายใน และมาตรฐานการศึกษา 2.12 จัดตั้งเครือข่ายศูนย์ข้อมูลความรู้ท้องถิ่น 2.13 ส่งเสริมให้เครือข่ายศิษย์เก่ามีบทบาทในสถานศึกษา 2.14 จัดให้มีพื้นที่แหล่งเรียนรู้ที่สำหรับบุคคลภายนอกในสถานศึกษา 2.15 ตรวจสอบ และปรับปรุงระเบียบทางวิชาการ 2.16 จัดหาเอกสารประกอบการเรียนเพิ่มเติมที่จำเป็นทั้งวิชาพื้นฐานหรือวิชาเพิ่มเติม และ 2.17 การปรับปรุงห้องสมุดให้มีบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียน และบุคคลภายนอก
