| dc.description.abstract | This study delves into the aesthetic elements of female figures in Tang Dynasty Dunhuang murals, aiming to understand their evolution and inheritance in contemporary fashion design. It seeks to reveal the fusion of traditional culture and modern fashion, emphasizing the integration of ancient and modern aesthetics and their influence on the contemporary fashion industry. The research methods include analyzing the characteristics of Tang Dynasty female figures depicted in Dunhuang murals, focusing on six aspects: form, posture, styling, color, material, and accessories. The study then examines how these aesthetic elements have been transformed and passed down in current fashion trends, highlighting the innovative integration of Tang Dynasty classic elements into modern design. The findings reveal that this creative fusion has produced fashionable garments that appeal to both classical and modern tastes, diversifying design styles and revitalizing the fashion industry. In summary, this study underscores the significant influence of the aesthetic principles of Tang Dynasty female imagery on contemporary aesthetic trends. The reinterpretation of female imagery from Dunhuang murals and their adaptation into modern design language not only enriches the contemporary clothing market but also deepens appreciation for traditional Chinese culture. This study offers new insights into cultural heritage and innovation, provides a fresh narrative approach for fashion design, and advocates for Chinese contemporary clothing design to showcase its unique charm on the global stage, thereby promoting the dissemination and exchange of Chinese culture in today's interconnected world. | en |
