บทบาทชีวิตที่เปลี่ยนไปของช้างไทย : การสร้างสรรค์ประยุกตศิลป์เพื่อตกแต่ง โรงแรมอนันตรา รีสอร์ท แอนด์สปา กรุงเทพฯ

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้เป็นการศึกษากระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ประยุกตศิลป์ เพื่อตกแต่งโรงแรมอนันตรารีสอร์ท แอนด์สปา กรุงเทพฯ ในการดำเนินงานสร้างสรรค์วิทยานิพนธ์ผู้วิจัยได้รวบรวมศึกษา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง กับพื้นที่ที่จะติดตั้งผลงาน ทั้งด้านโครงสร้างสถาปัตยกรรม และรูปแบบการตกแต่งภายในของสถานที่ตลอดจนสิ่งแวดล้อม วิถีชีวิตและประวัติศาสตร์ของช้างไทยจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน เพื่อสร้างสมมุติฐานในการออกแบบผลงาน โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่ออกแบบตกแต่งพื้นที่ต่างๆภายในโรงแรมให้ เกิดอัตลักษณ์จากความน่ารักของช้าง สัตว์ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของไทย ผลงานประยุกตศิลป์ถูกสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นด้วยการวาด การแกะสลัก การฉลุและการฝังแผ่นโลหะลงบนแผ่นไม้หลากหลายชนิด ซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากช้างไทย ผสมผสานกับความประทับใจในแง่มุมความน่ารัก ความซุกซนของตัวช้าง ผลงานทั้งหมดได้ออกแบบมาด้วยโทนสีสุภาพเน้นสีของวัสดุธรรมชาติ ให้ความรู้สึกเรียบง่าย สงบ ภายใต้วิถีชีวิตแบบไทย ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานประยุกตศิลป์ทั้งหมด 7 ผลงาน และจำลองติดตั้งในพื้นที่ของโรงแรม 7 จุดคือ 1. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 1” ขนาด 30x35 เซนติเมตร (2 ชิ้น ) ติดตั้งที่ห้องสปา 2. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 2” ขนาด 85x165 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องอนันตราริเวอร์ฟร้อนท์สวีท 3. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 3” ขนาด 62x68 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องอนันตราริเวอร์ฟร้อนท์สวีท 4. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 4” ขนาด 77x43 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องอนันตราริเวอร์ฟร้อนท์สวีท 5. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 5” ขนาด 82x120 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องจูเนียร์พรีเมียร์สวีท 6. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 6” ขนาด 50x60 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องดีลักซ์พรีเมียร์ 7. ชื่อผลงาน ช้าง 7” ขนาด 54x131 เซนติเมตร ติดตั้งที่ห้องจูเนียร์พรีเมียร์ริเวอร์วิวสวีท

The research is about creative processes of mixed media art which is for interior decoration of Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa Bangkok. In the research procedures, the researcher has collected and analyzed data of the location that related with the project, such as structure of architecture, interior decoration style of hotel, also including of environment. Way of life and history of elephant from the past until now which are to make an inspiration and designing concept of art. The objectives of this is to create an interior decoration inside the parts of hotel from the attractive identity of elephants; the national animal of Thailand. The applied art works are created with painting techniques, woodcut, and inlay metal in other types of wood. Researcher get an inspiration from impressive and playful elephants to do this project. All artworks are designed by use polite color scheme, emphasize to use natural tone color which are conveying to remind of simple, peaceful way of life. The thesis including with 7 pieces of artworks which are installed in 5 areas of hotel following: 1. Title “Change 1” size is 30 × 35 centimeter (2 pieces) in Spa room 2. Title “Change 2” size is 85 × 165 centimeter in Anantara River front suite 3. Title “Change 3” size is 62 × 68 centimeter in Anantara River front suite 4. Title “Change 4” size is 77 × 43 centimeter in Anantara River front suite 5. Title “Change 5” size is 82 × 120 centimeter in Junior Premium suite 6. Title “Change 6” size is 50 × 60 centimeter in Deluxe Premium 7. Title “Change 7” size is 54 × 13 centimeter in Junior Premium River Front suits
