นิทรรศการจากความฝัน : การบูรณาการบทบาทของผู้สร้างสรรค์ ระหว่างศิลปินและนักจัดการศิลปะ

Abstract

ในฐานะที่ผู้วิจัยทำงานด้านการจัดการนิทรรศการศิลปะมาระยะหนึ่ง จึงต้องการสร้างสรรค์นิทรรศการที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตของตนเอง ในฐานะศิลปิน นักจัดการนิทรรศการ คอลัมนิสต์ รวมถึงงานจัดการศิลปะในการสะสมที่ทำอยู่ในปัจจุบันได้เกี่ยวข้องกับโครงสร้างหลายๆ อย่างในวงการศิลปะ โดยเฉพาะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้วิจัยกับ แกลเลอรี่เอกชน ศิลปิน ผลงานศิลปะ สื่อ ผู้ชม ที่ทำให้เห็นว่าการมีอยู่ของผลงานศิลปะนั้นสามารถเกิดจากปัจจัยแวดล้อมที่มากไปกว่าการผลิตจากมือของศิลปินเพียงอย่างเดียว ผู้วิจัยต้องการทดลองผลิตผลงานศิลปะโดยใช้ความฝันที่ได้จดบนทึกไว้เป็นข้อมูล เครื่องมือ รวมถึงการเป็นงานศิลปะโดยกระบวนการบันทึกเอง ซึ่งศิลปินหรือผู้ชมที่เข้าร่วมสามารถมองว่ากระบวนการนี้เป็นการตีความ การถอดความ ให้บันทึกเหล่านี้กลายเป็นผลงานศิลปะ โดยความหมายของ “นิทรรศการจากความฝัน” ผู้วิจัยมีแนวความคิดกว้างๆ ที่ต้องการให้กระบวนการสร้างนิทรรศการเป็นอุปมาคล้ายกับพิพิธภัณฑ์ในช่วงยุคแรกเริ่ม ที่เต็มไปด้วยสิ่งของที่มาจากท้องถิ่นอื่น หรือดินแดนที่หลายๆ คนยังไม่รู้จัก รวมถึงการจัดหมวดหมู่สิ่งต่างๆ บนฐานความเข้าใจเฉพาะบริบท เฉพาะกาล หากหน้าที่หนึ่งของพิพิธภัณฑ์คือการรวบรวมข้อมูลเพื่อไม่ให้สูญหาย อาจเป็นการสะสม หรือการจัดแสดงวัตถุสิ่งของ ก่อนที่เราจะเรียกสิ่งนั้นว่า “นิทรรศการ” เพื่อสร้างความทรงจำให้กับผู้คน หรือทำให้เป็นองค์ความรู้เพื่อการศึกษา การย้อนกลับไปสู่จุดเริ่มต้นแนวคิดของพิพิธภัณฑ์นั้น “การสะสม” จะเต็มไปด้วยความยุ่งเหยิง บางสิ่งอาจเป็นความเข้าใจผิด บางสิ่งน่าตื่นเต้น หรือน่าฉงน เป็นโลกของสิ่งประหลาดที่ไม่มีระเบียบ แต่อย่างน้อยนั่นก็เป็นการเริ่มต้นที่จะทำให้ “เหตุการณ์” “สิ่งของ” และ “กาลเวลา” เริ่มประสานเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกัน Since the author have been engaging in exhibition management for a while, having my own exhibition that compliment my life is my life long aspiration. And as an artist, organizer, columnist, my current position as art collection manager, all of them involve with arts at structural level which the relationship between author and private galleries, artworks, artists, media, and audiences reveals that work of art is conceived not only through artist but various factors in diversified environment. The author attempts to create experimental artwork based on dreams, which were noted down as materials, instruments, and also complete artworks materialized through process of noting. The process can be view by artist and audience as interpretation and translation of such notes and transform them into artwork. "Exhibition from Dreams" is based on author's broad concept that it will be fashioned after early form of exhibition whose purpose serves as an analogy to museum of wonder, housing exotics from land of unknown categorized on time-specific context and understanding. Assuming that one of the meaning of museum is to preserve and protect or to collect and display artworks even before we have the proper name for it as ‘exhibition’ public memory and knowledge. The returning to the concept of ‘collection’ also means delving into messy business of misunderstanding, exciting, and wonder. Suffice to say that it’s a chaotic world of oddity that would merge ‘phenomena’, ‘objects’, and ‘time’ together as one.
