พัฒนาการทางรูปแบบสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย

Abstract

ในประเทศไทย สตรีทอาร์ตถือเป็นศิลปะแขนงใหม่ที่กำลังได้รับความนิยมและเป็นกำลังขับเคลื่อนศิลปะแนวใหม่ โดยถูกส่งอิทธิพลจากกราฟิตีคลี่คลายสู่สตรีทอาร์ตในเวลาต่อมา บริบททางสังคมในประเทศไทยส่งผลให้สตรีทอาร์ตมีความแตกต่างทั้งในด้านรูปแบบ วิธีการแสดงออก จนเกิดเป็นสตรีทอาร์ตในรูปแบบของประเทศไทยที่น่าสนใจ การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษาพัฒนาการ รูปแบบ และวิธีการแสดงออกของสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาจากเอกสารต่างประเทศ ประกอบกับการสัมภาษณ์ศิลปินสตรีทอาร์ตและกราฟิตีในประเทศไทย เพื่อให้ทราบถึงแนวคิดและวิธีการทำงานอย่างแท้จริง โดยผู้วิจัยแบ่งประเด็นการวิเคราะห์ดังนี้ 1. ลักษณะของสตรีทอาร์ตในบริบทสังคมไทย 2. ความแตกต่างระหว่างกราฟิตีและสตรีทอาร์ต 3. จุดประสงค์ของการทำงานสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย 4. วิเคราะห์อิทธิพลที่ส่งถึงสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย 5. วิเคราะห์พื้นที่ในงานสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า บริบททางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมของประเทศไทยส่งผลต่องานสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทย ทั้งการแสดงออกของศิลปิน จุดประสงค์ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน รูปแบบของผลงานและลักษณะการใช้พื้นที่ ซึ่งทำให้มีความแตกต่างจากงานสตรีทอาร์ตในต่างประเทศ นอกจากนั้นยังพบว่าศิลปินสตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทยโดยแท้จริงยังคงมีจำนวนไม่มากนัก ศิลปินส่วนใหญ่เลือกทำงานสตรีทอาร์ตเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการทำงานเพียงเท่านั้น การทำงานสตรีทอาร์ตผ่านศิลปินหลากหลายสาขาส่งผลให้สตรีทอาร์ตในประเทศไทยมีความหลากหลายและน่าสนใจ

In Thailand, street art is a new category of art that is currently popular. And it influences new style of art by transfer from graffiti to street art. Social context affects Thai street art in terms of its forms, expressions, and influences from artists until leads to attractive Thai street art forms. This research aimed at the study of development of forms and expressions of street art in Thailand through the study of the previous international research papers and interviews with Thai street art and graffiti artists in order to understand their perspectives and methodologies truly. Researcher divided points of analysis as these follow: 1. Feature of street art in Thai social context, 2. Differences between graffiti and street art, 3. Objectives of working on street art in Thailand, 4. Analysis of influence influenced street art in Thailand, and 5. Analysis of areas of street art in Thailand. Research finding indicated that Thai social context and culture influenced to street art works in Thailand both in terms of artists’ forms, expressions, purposes of creation and feature of area used which made them different from another in abroad. In addition, it was also found that there were only few true street art artists. Most artists choose to work through street art style as only some parts of their tasks. Street art creation by artists from the various categories affect Thai street art variety and interesting.
