ภาพสะท้อนกุศโลบายในการทำความดี

Abstract

การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์ชุด “ภาพสะท้อนกุศโลบายในการทำความดี” ข้าพเจ้ามุ่งหวังที่จะแสดงออกถึงเรื่องในวิถีชีวิตของคนไทยแฝงไปด้วยความรู้ภูมิปัญญาต่างๆมากมาย ที่เป็นประโยชน์ในการสร้างความสุข ความผูกพันและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคนในสังคมให้อยู่ร่วมกันได้อย่างสันติสุข ซึ่งหนึ่งในความรู้และภูมิปัญญาที่สืบทอดกันมาจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นนั้นคือ กุศโลบาย หรือ อุบาย เช่น เรื่องเล่านิทานและสุภาษิตสำนวนไทย ที่เอาไว้สอนลูกสอนหลานให้ปฏิบัติตนอยู่ในครรลองที่ดี รู้จักแบ่งปัน มีน้ำใจ รักใคร่สามัคคี ช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกันฉันพี่น้อง กุศโลบายหรืออุบายเหล่านั้นถูกปลูกฝังและหยั่งรากลึกอยู่ในแง่คิด วิถีการดำเนินชีวิตของคนไทยและประเพณีพื้นบ้าน วิทยานิพนธ์นี้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานโดยใช้เทคนิคและวัสดุสื่อผสม โดยมีกลยุทธ์ในการสื่อสารผ่านกระบวนการระหว่างขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีและเทคนิค ตั้งแต่การแกะไม้ ปั้นดินสอพอง การตัดแปะกระจกสีและการกัดกระจกด้วยน้ำกรด โดยแสดงออกมาในรูปแบบของจิตรกรรมสื่อผสม 3 มิติ ทำให้เกิดการทับซ้อนมิติของภาพสะท้อนทั้งในความจริงและภาพลวงตา ซึ่งแสดงให้เป็นถึงห่วงกาลเวลาผ่านตัวของวัสดุที่นำมาใช้ ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าสร้างสรรค์เรื่องราวในอุดมคติที่มีต่อภาพสะท้อนผลของกฎแห่งกรรมขึ้นมาและในด้านของอารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่เกิดจากการมองเห็นภาพสะท้อนของตนเองในผลงานศิลปะ เหมือนได้เข้าไปสู่โลกในอุดมคติจินตนาการนั้นด้วย ทั้งหมดนี้เพื่อแสดงถึงศรัทธาที่มีต่อภูมิปัญญาพื้นบ้าน ซึ่งเป็นคำสอนจากบรรพบุรุษของเราผ่านการผสมผสานระหว่างเรื่องราวทางอุดมคติไปสู่จินตนาการในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ

About a series of thesis artwork creation “The Reflection of Strategy in Doing Goodness”, I was willing to express Thai way of life with many useful indigenous knowledge systems to create happiness, relationship and relation among people in society for living together peacefully. One of indigenous knowledge systems descended from many generations is stratagems such as folk fables, Thai expressions and proverbs. We use these stratagems to teach descendants for behaving well, being openhanded, generous and harmonious as well as helping each other like a same family. These stratagems root and they are fostered in Thai’s point of view, way of life and folk customs such as reaping rice, building a house, building a temple, teaching knowledge of handcraft as well as painting a mural. These thesis artworks were created by using techniques of integration and materials integration. In the strategy of expressing, processes between traditions and techniques which were wood engraving, soft-prepared chalk molding, lacquering and glass decorating and glass etching by acidic substances were used. These were expressed in the 3D mixed media art, so this created overlapped dimensions of the reflections in both reality and illusion. This showed a period of time through materials used. Thus, I created stories of ideal relating to a reflection in law of Karma and emotion happened from seeing my reflection in the artworks. It seemed as going to that ideal world of imagination as well. This was to show respect to the indigenous knowledge, which is the instruction of our ancestors combining between the idealistic stories to the imaginary for creating artworks.
