การพัฒนาสื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ และความตระหนักรู้ ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนนาคประสิทธิ์ อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของสื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษนครปฐมก่อนและหลังการใช้สื่อ 3) เปรียบเทียบความตระหนักรู้ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังการใช้สื่อ และ 4) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนต่อความเหมาะสมของสื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้าน ภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนนาคประสิทธิ์ อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2548 จำนวน 40 คน ทำการทดลองโดยให้นักเรียนเรียนโดยใช้สื่อการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง จำนวน 10 บท ใช้เวลาทดลอง 20 สัปดาห์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) สื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes จำนวน 10 บท 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษก่อนและหลังเรียน 3) แบบประเมินความ ตระหนักรู้ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังการใช้สื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes และ 4) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อบทเรียนสื่อเสริม การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล t-test เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนกลุ่มตัวอย่างก่อนและหลังเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการอ่านและใช้เฉลี่ยค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานในการหาค่าระดับความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อสื่อเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลาง โดยใช้โปรแกรม Hot Potatoes ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. ประสิทธิภาพของสื่อการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานพื้นบ้านภาคกลางมีค่าเท่ากับ 77.07/77.08 ซึ่งถือว่ามีประสิทธิภาพที่ดี 2. ความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานของนักเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนโดยใช้สื่อ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3. ความตระหนักรู้ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง หลังจากเรียนภาษาอังกฤษจากสื่อ การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติระดับ .05 4. นักเรียนมีความคิดเห็นต่อความเหมาะสมของสื่ออยู่ในระดับดี The purposes of the research were 1) to develop and test the efficiency of English reading materials based on Thai central region folktales, 2) to compare the students English reading ability pratomsuksa-sixth students before and after using the materials, 3) to compare the students’ ethics awareness before and after using the materials;, and 4) to survey students’ opinions on the materials. The subjects consisted of one selected class of 40 sixth grade students of Nakprasith school, Nakhonpatom Province during the second semester of academic year 2015. The students studied the ten units of the materials based on Thai central region folktales. The duration of the experiment covered a sixteen-week period. The instruments used for gathering data consisted of 1) ten units of English reading materials based on Thai central region folktales, 2) a reading proficiency test used as the pre- test and post- test, 3) a questionnaire measuring opinions toward the suitability of the materials, and 4) an ethics awareness test The S.D. and the t-test were used to analyze the data in order to assess the students’ English reading ability and ethics awareness and to assess the students’ attitude toward studying English before and after using the materials. 1. The average score of the ten units of the materials was 77.07 percent, whereas that of the posttest was 77.08. This means that the materials was at the acceptable level of 75/75. 2. The students’ English reading ability after using the material was significantly higher than before using the materials at the .05 level. 3. The students’ ethics awareness was significantly higher after using the materials. 4. The students’ opinions toward the suitability of the materials were at a goo d level.
