THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MATHEMATICS AND GROUP WORK BEHAVIOR OF GRADE 3 STUDENTS BY USING STAD LEARINING THEORY WITH KWDL

Abstract

This research aims to compare the mathematic learning outcome on the topic of addition, subtraction and mixed proposition. In addition, it aims to study the development of group work of the students by using STAD together with KWDL learning format. This research also aims to study the opinion of grade 3 students toward STAD together with KWDL format. The subjects of this research were 35 grade 3 students of Bannaipol School, Bangbon District, Bangkok and all of them were studying in semester 1 of academic year 2017. They were randomly selected by using the label. This research is experimental research with Pre-experimental designs. The research design was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design and it took 15 hours to tryout. The research instrument were 1) lesson plans, 2) mathematic test, 3) group work behavior assessment, and 4) the questionnaire for students' opinion. The statistics used for data analysis were mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test (Dependent)

Results

1. The learning outcome of grade 3 students about the addition, subtraction and mixed proposition after using STAD together with KWDL learning format was significantly higher than before learning at .01.

2. The development of group work behavior of grade 3 students who were taught by using STAD together with KWDL was higher in every aspect. Overall, the development of group work behavior increased from a moderate level in week 1 to a high level in week 2 and week 3, respectively.

3. The opinions of the students towards STAD with KWDL were generally at the high level. Most of the students agreed with all aspects : the learning activity ,the atmosphere in learning management and the benefits.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการคือ 1)เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องโจทย์ปัญหาการบวกการลบ การบวกลบระคน 2) เพื่อศึกษาพัฒนาการพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มของนักเรียนในการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ STAD ร่วมกับ KWDL 3) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ STAD ร่วมกับ KWDL กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนบ้านนายผล สำนักงานเขตบางบอน กรุงเทพมหานคร ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2560 จำนวนนักเรียนทั้งสิ้น 35 คน โดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย ด้วยวิธีจับสลากห้องเรียน การวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง (Experimental Research) ประเภทการทดลองขั้นพื้นฐาน (Pre – Experimental Designs) แบบแผนการวิจัยกลุ่มเดียวทดสอบก่อนเรียน หลังเรียน (One Group Pretest - Posttest Designs) รวมทั้งสิ้น 15 ชั่วโมง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ 3) แบบประเมินพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่ม 4) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย () ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) การทดสอบค่า (t-test) แบบ Dependent

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) ผลการเรียนรู้หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้เรื่อง โจทย์ปัญหาการบวก การลบ การบวกลบระคน ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ที่จัดการเรียนรู้แบบ STAD ร่วมกับ KWDL หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

2) พัฒนาการพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ที่จัดการเรียนรู้แบบ STAD ร่วมกับ KWDL มีพัฒนาการสูงขึ้นทุกด้าน โดยภาพรวมพัฒนาการพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มสูงขึ้นจากระดับปานกลางในสัปดาห์ที่ 1 เป็นระดับมากในสัปดาห์ที่ 2 และสัปดาห์ที่ 3 ตามลำดับ

3) ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ STAD ร่วมกับ KWDL โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า นักเรียนมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในเกณฑ์เห็นด้วยมากทุกด้าน ซึ่งเรียงตามลำดับจากมากไปน้อยได้ดังนี้ ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ ด้านบรรยากาศในการจัดการเรียนรู้ และ ด้านประโยชน์ที่ได้รับ
