BEHAVIOR AND PERCEPTION OF THE ELDERLY RIGHTS THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS

Abstract

The research aimed to study behavior of using social networks of the elderly. To study the perception of the elderly rights and to study the problems and obstacles of the elderly rights through social networks. The research instrument was a questionnaires. The samples used in the research were the elderly aged 60 years and over and were members of Doklumduan Relief Cremation Society, Tha Kham Subdistrict, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Total 300 people.

The results of the behavior of using social networks found that the elderly use Facebook through mobile phones for contact old friends / family. During 11.01 a.m.-15.00 p.m. Access to social network is less than 3 times/week. And using 1-2 hours/time. The perception of information on the rights of the elderly through social networks found that most of the samples have been aware of the information on the rights of the elderly through social networks but the proportion is not different from those who have never known a bit. Most of the samples wanted to know from friends / acquaintances. The level of information perception of the elderly's rights, found that the most is the right to help living allowance. As for the problems and obstacles found that most of the samples lack knowledge and understanding about the use of social networks and access to information about the rights of the elderly through social networks.

The results of the study is beneficial to the relevant departments or organizations to be a guideline for the development of access to information on the rights of the elderly. And facilitate or provide information, news, various benefits through social networks. And support the elderly to learn or search for information about the rights of the elderly through social networks.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ของผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ และเพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป และเป็นสมาชิกของสมาคมฌาปนกิจสงเคราะห์ดอกลำดวน ตำบลท่าข้าม อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 300 คน

ผลการศึกษา พฤติกรรมการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ของผู้สูงอายุ พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่นิยมใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ประเภท เฟสบุ๊ค (Facebook) โดยใช้ผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือ มีจุดประสงค์ในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ เพื่อติดต่อเพื่อนเก่า/ครอบครัว โดยใช้ในช่วงกลางวัน เวลา 11.01-15.00 น. ความถี่น้อยกว่า 3 ครั้งต่อสัปดาห์ และเข้าใช้ครั้งละ 1-2 ชั่วโมง การรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เคยรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ แต่สัดส่วนไม่ต่างจากผู้ที่ไม่เคยรับรู้เล็กน้อย และกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมดต้องการรับรู้จากเพื่อน/คนรู้จัก มากที่สุด ระดับการรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุ พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่รับรู้สิทธิด้านการช่วยเหลือเงินเบี้ยยังชีพมากที่สุด ส่วนปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ การเข้าถึงเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ และการเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์

ผลการศึกษาดังกล่าว เป็นประโยชน์ต่อหน่วยงานหรือองค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาการเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิของผู้สูงอายุ และอำนวยความสะดวกหรือให้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสิทธิประโยชน์ต่างๆ ผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ โดยสนับสนุนให้มีการอบรมให้ความรู้เพิ่มเติม และส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุได้เรียนรู้หรือค้นหาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสิทธิผู้สูงอายุผ่านเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์
