Abstract: Travelling and Tourism was the main leisure activity, and it has been part of our daily lives since an early development of human civilization. The tourists always search for authenticity out of their journey by visiting the place and location that may deliver the authentic, exotic, and unique experience for themselves. Authenticity in tourism can be regarded as mythical in the sense that tourists visit places that are foreign to them that offer conditions that may pose very challenging at the same time unique withing the experiences. From this authenticity seeking in tourism, architecture has been the preferable and effective tools to develop into the tourist destination. To create exotic experiences through the authenticity seeking by tourists via the architectural images was not only nostalgia tourism but also the contemporary and modern tourism. Authenticity was introduced to develop and create the tourist locations in response to the search of different experience to escape from daily routine of work life. Subsequently, the developments of local tourist attractions intend to gain their authentic experience through the more alienating displacement of architecture. And the tourist’s expectation in authenticity seeking became the goals in their travelling to achieve their own fresh and unique authenticity experience.  In the surrounded area of Khao Yai National Park, Pakchong, Nakorn Ratchasima was selected to be the physical location of this research objective because it was strongly shown as the phenomenal of displacement architecture. The distinct tools for leisure in this mountainous region stand out among other leisure cities in Thailand and internationally beyond. Khao Yai’s tourist attractions and recreational activities area located along the mountainous terrain, positioning region with such a unique flvor comparing with other earlier tourist destinations developed for prevalent beach towns. Khao Yai National Park that was mainly developed in response to the needs of local Thai tourists since the beginning in 1965 until now. The repetition of western vernacular architecture was duplicated here to attract tourists as though they actually traveled to the west themselves. The different series of Khao Yai developments also represent different degrees of displacement architecture as the tool of authenticity seeking.
