Soundscape Composition: Kho-Lam-Singha

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present the process and inspiration for the creation of a song about Laem Singha Mountain, Chanthaburi Province. By composing songs related to Laem Singha Mountain. Through the process of arranging and composing in Guitar Soundscape style.In this song, the composer studied the process of composing songs in the Guitar Soundscape style by applying the concepts from the study of the compositions in Minimal Music and Program music which is music about describing and telling stories in that place to be used to create musical compositions which will be named “The composition of the song of Khao Laem Singha”The guitar sound can make various atmospheric soundtracks. It uses different types of guitar effects to create and use techniques to complete compositions. As the author has determined,

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอกระบวนการและแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์บทประพันธ์เพลงแห่งเขาแหลมสิงห์ จังหวัดจันทบุรี โดยการประพันธ์เพลงที่มีความเชื่อมโยงเกี่ยวกับเขาแหลมสิงห์ ผ่านกระบวนการจัดวางและเรียบเรียงบทประพันธ์ในรูปแบบ ซาวด์สเคปในผลงานประพันธ์ชิ้นนี้ ผู้ประพันธ์ได้ศึกษาถึงกระบวนการวิธีการประพันธ์บทเพลงในรูปแบบ ซาวด์สเคป โดยการนำแนวคิดจากการศึกษา โดยใช้หลักการประพันธ์แบบ มินิมอลมิวสิค,โปรแกรมมิวสิค ที่เป็นดนตรีเกี่ยวกับการพรรณนาและการเล่าเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ในสถานที่นั้น ๆเพื่อมาใช้สร้างบทประพันธ์ดนตรี ซึ่งจะชื่อว่า บทประพันธ์เพลงแห่งเขาแหลมสิงห์

ซาวด์สเคปนั้นสามารถนำมาสร้างบทประพันธ์ได้ โดยใช้ การบันทึกเสียงสถานที่จริงและการบันทึกเสียงเครื่องดนตรีเพื่อนำมาสร้างสรรค์และใช้เทคนิคเพื่อให้บทประพันธ์สมบูรณ์ ตามที่ผู้ประพันธ์นั้นได้กำหนดไว้เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบแนวดนตรีที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมถึงเทคนิคต่างๆที่ใช้ในการสร้างบทประพันธ์ จากการที่ผู้ประพันธ์ได้ทำการศึกษา ค้นคว้า และทดลองสร้างบทประพันธ์พบว่า สามารถนำเอาแนวคิดในรูปแบบที่พบในดนตรีรูปแบบมินิมอลมิวสิค (Minimal Music) สามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการประพันธ์บทเพลงได้อย่างสมบูรณ์
