The development of critical reading ability by using GPAS process for matthayomsuksa 6 students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) compare the critical reading ability of Matthayomsuksa 6 students before and after learning with GPAS process and 2) study the students’ opinions towards learning with GPAS process. The sample students were from Matthayomsuksa 6, room 4, 2nd semester of 2022 academic year. There were 44 sample students selected by simple random sampling. The research tools consisted of 1) lesson plans. 2) critical reading ability test. and 3) questionnaire on the students opinion toward GPAS process. The data were analyzed by mean (M), standard deviation (S.D.), and t - test for dependent Samples.

The study found as follow;

1) The critical reading ability of Matthayomsuksa 6 students after using GPAS process significance higher than before using GPAS at .05 level.

2) The opinion of Matthayomsuksa 6 students toward learning with GPAS process were at a high agreement level.

วิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านอย่างมีวิจารญาณ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการคิด GPAS 2) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนรัตนโกสินทร์สมโภชบางขุนเทียน เขตบางขุนเทียน กรุงเทพมหานคร ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน คือ ห้อง 4 มีจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด 44 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) โดยใช้ห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยสุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง การอ่านอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการอ่านอย่างมีวิจารญาณ และแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีแบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1) ความสามารถด้านการอ่านอย่างมีวิจารญาณ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้สูงกว่าก่อนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2) ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามกระบวนการ GPAS โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก
