Assessment of Bachelor of Technology Programs in Hotel Studies (Continuing), Nakhon Pathom Vocational College Using the CIPPI Model

Abstract

The objective of this research were 1) to evaluate graduate technology programs of Hotel Academic Program (Continuing) (2020 revised curriculum) of Nakhon Pathom Vocational College According to the CIPPI Model, it consists of these: context, import factor, process, productivity and impact. 2) To study problems and guidelines for improving the Bachelor of Techology curriculum of Hotel Academic Program (Continuing) (2020 revised course) of Nakhon Pathom Vocational College. The research sample consisted of student, graduates, graduate users, administrators, instructors in charge of the curriculum, and instructors. The research tools were questionnaires and structured interviews. Statistics use in data analysis were percentage, mean, statistical deviation and content analysis.

The research result show that ฺ1) the overall assessment of the curriculum was appropriate at the high level. The context assessment input, process, product and impact is very appropriate in all aspects. 2) Problem and development guidlines, improving the curriculum. In terms of context, it was found that the curriculum should reduce the duration of study in accordance with the standard criteria for undergraduate curricula of 2015. Regarding the input, it was found that instructors should practice their professional experience continuously. In terms of process, it was found that enterprises should be encouraged to participate in more activities with educational institutes. In terms of product, it was found that students' English skills should be continuously. In terms of impact, there should be activities on developing for graduates lacked leadership.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อประเมินหลักสูตรเทคโนโลยีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการโรงแรม (ต่อเนื่อง) (หลักสูตรปรับปรุง พ.ศ.2563) วิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษานครปฐม ตามรูปแบบซิปป์ไอ (CIPPI Model) ประกอบด้วย ด้านบริบท ด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า ด้านกระบวนการ ด้านผลผลิต และด้านผลกระทบ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและแนวทางการพัฒนาปรับปรุงหลักสูตรเทคโนโลยีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการโรงแรม (ต่อเนื่อง) (หลักสูตรปรับปรุง พ.ศ.2563) วิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษานครปฐม กลุ่มตัวอย่างการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักศึกษา บัณฑิต ผู้ใช้บัณฑิต ผู้บริหาร อาจารย์ผู้รับผิดชอบหลักสูตร และอาจารย์ผู้สอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่แบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าสถิติร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) หลักสูตรโดยภาพรวมมีความเหมาะสมระดับมาก ผลการประเมินด้านบริบท ด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า ด้านกระบวนการ ด้านผลผลิต และด้านผลกระทบพบว่ามีความเหมาะสมระดับมากทุกด้าน 2) ปัญหาและแนวทางการพัฒนา ปรับปรุงหลักสูตร ด้านบริบท พบว่า หลักสูตรควรลดระยะเวลาการศึกษาให้สอดคล้องกับเกณฑ์มาตรฐานหลักสูตร ระดับปริญญาตรี พ.ศ.2558 ด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า พบว่า อาจารย์ผู้สอนควรฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพอย่างต่อเนื่อง ด้านกระบวนการ พบว่า ควรให้สถานประกอบการมีส่วนร่วมในการทำกิจกรรมกับสถานศึกษาเพิ่มมากขึ้น ด้านผลผลิต พบว่า ควรมีการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และด้านผลกระทบ พบว่า ควรจัดกิจกรรมที่พัฒนาภาวะผู้นำให้แก่บัณฑิต
