Abstract: | The Chinese zodiac culture is one of the mainstream cultures in traditional Chinese culture. The 12 zodiac signs best reflect the most primitive and real relationship between society and culture and people's lives and have a subtle social influence and tenacious vitality. It not only uses twelve animals to show the year of a person's birth, but also extensively covers all areas of human life. Along with the twelve zodiac signs, it has produced a rich variety of folk customs, cultural connotations, and aesthetic practices. However, in the course of history, the zodiac culture has been slowly integrated into people's lives, but people often do not really understand its cultural significance. The purpose of this study is to disseminate and perpetuate the Chinese zodiac culture through interactive forms of storybooks for children. The quantitative research method was used to determine the spread and development of the zodiac culture through a sample of 195 from 3 locations in Beijing Shanghai Guangzhou. Qualitative research methods were then used to interview 3 designers, 3 experts and 3 parents, as well as behavioral observations of 5 children to provide further support. With positive results, suitable methods and dissemination approaches were found in conjunction with child education theory. The researcher then applied these theoretical models to the development of children's traditional cultural communication, using patterns, colors and approaches borrowed from children's interactive art, adding AR, paper cuts and stories to complete the overall research project. - |
