Abstract: This study develops strategies to promote agricultural tourism in Xi'an, leveraging the region's rich cultural and natural resources, as well as the opportunities presented by the Silk Road Economic Belt. Agricultural tourism is globally recognized as a sustainable approach to boost rural economies, foster cultural exchanges, and enhance ecological awareness. Using research methods such as SWOT analysis, field surveys, and expert interviews, the study provides comprehensive insights into the sector's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The analysis reveals that while Xi'an holds significant potential for agricultural tourism development, it faces challenges including limited innovation, infrastructure gaps, and insufficient integration of modern technologies. The findings suggest that improving infrastructure, embracing digital technologies, and fostering community involvement can significantly boost the local economy through agricultural tourism. The proposed strategies focus on enhancing visitor experiences, diversifying tourism offerings, promoting sustainability, and strengthening marketing efforts. These recommendations aim to increase Xi'an's competitiveness in the global agricultural tourism market, contributing to both economic growth and the preservation of its cultural heritage. This research offers practical recommendations for local government and stakeholders to support the sustainable development of agricultural tourism in Xi'an, providing valuable insights that may serve as a reference for similar efforts in other regions.
