Abstract: | This study takes the "Niwu Di" ceremony as the relevant object to explore the value of virtual reality technology to the cultural experience and dissemination of the Lisu people in the context of modernization. Modernization has not only changed the way of cultural transmission but also disrupted the traditional cultural symbols of the people in Lijiang. The ancient local traditional activity "Niwu Di" is being unvalued by the younger generation. This study uses digital technology and the animist belief theory to create a new virtual environment and realize the individual's perceptual experience in the ritual space. The research objectives are as follows:1) To study the "Niwu Di" ceremony, focusing on its belief, evolution and key factors affecting cultural cognition; 2) To analyze the discovery knowledge of all the elements of the "Niwu Di" ceremony, which can be combined with the cultural Model;3) To design a digital ritual experience based on virtual reality technology, to enhance audience esthesia and dissemination of Lisu traditional ritual culture. This model aims to cognitively experience and interpret the ceremony, providing effective methods for experiencing and disseminating the ritual culture of the Lisu people. This study mainly uses mixed methods, integrating qualitative and quantitative analysis. Researchers expanded the experiential dimensions through on-site investigations and questionnaires on the Lisu people, validating the effectiveness of digital media in disseminating nature sacrifice culture and effectively promoting the preservation of Lisu culture. - |
