Abstract

รูปเทพเจ้านั้นมีลักษณะที่แตกต่างกันในแต่ละยุคสมัย รูปแบบที่หลากหลายของเทพเจ้าเผยให้เห็นวิวัฒนาการของรูปเคารพรวมถึงการผสมผสานกันในรูปแบบและแนวคิดที่เกิดจากความเชื่อ เราจะพบได้ว่ารูปแบบของเทพเจ้าบางลักษณะจะเกิดจากการผสมผสานกันระหว่างมนุษย์เพศชายและเพศหญิง หรือพยายามขับเน้นให้เกิดสภาวะที่ไม่สามารถระบุเพศได้ นอกจากนี้ลักษณะที่โดดเด่นและน่าสนใจของรูปเทพเจ้าในประวัติศาสตร์คือ รูปแบบที่เกิดขึ้นโดยการประกอบสร้างจากรูปร่างของมนุษย์และสัตว์ รูปแบบดังกล่าวก้าวข้ามขอบเขตของความเป็นจริงเชิงวิทยาศาสตร์ในยุคปัจจุบัน ซึ่งรูปแบบของเทพเจ้าเหล่านี้ล้วนมีเหตุผลและเงื่อนไข เชื่อมโยงกับความเชื่อและแนวคิดที่เกิดขึ้นจากสภาวะสังคมในยุคนั้น ๆ จากการศึกษาเหตุและปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดรูปแบบที่แตกต่างกันของเทพเจ้าในประวัติศาสตร์ ผู้ทำวิทยานิพนธ์พบว่า ความเชื่อ ความศรัทธาและศาสนาเป็นเงื่อนไขและปัจจัยที่สำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์รูปเทพเจ้า ทั้งนี้รูปเทพเจ้าอาจเกิดขึ้นจากการเป็นภาพแทนของพลังทางธรรมชาติ หรือเกิดขึ้นจากความศรัทธาต่อศาสดาหรือผู้นำในศาสนาต่าง ๆ นอกจากนี้ผู้ทำวิทยานิพนธ์ตั้งข้อสังเกตต่อเนื้อหาด้านวิธีการและวัสดุ โดยถ้าหากเงื่อนไขทางวัสดุและวิธีการในอดีต ถูกเปลี่ยนมาใช้กระบวนการและวัสดุที่อยู่ในยุคสมัยปัจจุบัน รูปแบบของเทพเจ้าอาจจะถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในเชิงความหมาย หรือหน้าที่ความสำคัญก็เป็นได้ ดังนั้นผู้ทำวิทยานิพนธ์จึงใช้กระบวนการหยิบยืมแนวคิดและรูปแบบของเทพเจ้าในประวัติศาสตร์มาสร้างสรรค์และตีความใหม่(Appropriation) ซึ่งกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานประติมากรรมในวิทยานิพนธ์ชุดนี้ จะแสดงให้เห็นสภาวะร่วมสมัยที่เกิดขึ้นจากการผสมผสานรูปแบบและวัสดุที่บ่งบอกได้ถึงยุคสมัยปัจจุบัน โดยเผยให้เห็นถึงคุณค่า ความงาม และองค์ความรู้ที่ได้จากการศึกษารูปเคารพในประวัติศาสตร์ Deity images it looks different in each period. Variation of deity reveals the evolution of the images, including a mix of styles and concepts of faith. We found that some characteristics are caused by a combination of the human male and female or trying to make conditions that cannot be identified. In addition, a distinctive and attractive image of the deity in history is the pattern formed by the assembly created by the shape of humans and animals. Such the format is beyond the scope of scientific fact in the current period. The form of these gods has the reasons and conditions associated with the beliefs and ideas that arose from the social conditions in that particular time. The study and the factors that cause different forms of deity in history, we found that belief, faith, and religion are the important factors and conditions in the creation of a gods. The image of the deity may occur to be symbolic power or caused by a prophet or faith leaders in various religions. Apart from this, the author noted the thesis content and materials: If the condition of materials and methods in the past has been changed to use the processes and materials in this period the form of deity might be changed in symbolic or significance. So the author used the process of borrowing the concept of deity in the history of create and new interpret. The process of the creation of sculpture in this thesis will show the contemporary conditions that arise from a combination of patterns and materials that define the current era by revealing the beauty and value of knowledge gained from the study of historical images.
