สีแห่งความศรัทธาและสงบสุข

Abstract

จากสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติ ผสมผสานกับรูปแบบเชิงสัญลักษณ์ของศิลปวัฒนธรรม สีในงานสถาปัตยกรรมไทย วิถีชีวิตไทยที่สะท้อนถึงเอกลักษณ์ไทยในความละเอียดอ่อน ความประณีตงดงามและทรงคุณค่า ที่สื่อถึงสาระเชิงนามธรรมแบบไทย ภายใต้กรอบความคิดและปรัชญาตะวันออกที่ก่อให้เกิดความสงบสุข รวมไปถึงรูปทรงทางความเชื่อความศรัทธาในทางพุทธศาสนา คือจุดบันดาลใจเริ่มต้นในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชุด “สีแห่งความศรัทธาและสงบสุข” ที่เกิดจากความประทับใจด้วยการสัมพันธ์กับแสงและสี โดยให้ความสำคัญกับมิติในบรรยากาศของสีที่ก่อรูปความหมายทางทัศนธาตุ ด้วยการก่อตัวกันผสานกันของสีที่ทับซ้อนกันในบริบทต่างๆด้วยรูปทรงที่เรียบง่ายในแบบเรขาคณิตที่เป็นเสมือนลวดลายและสัญลักษณ์ในงานศิลปะไทย ที่ค่อยๆก่อรูปจากหน่วยเล็กๆจนเป็นภาพของผลงานศิลปะภาพพิมพ์แม่พิมพ์ตะแกรงไหมขึ้น จากทัศนธาตุทางทัศนศิลป์จนเกิดเป็นบรรยากาศของสี ที่ให้ความรู้สึกถึงการสั่นสะเทือน โดยเกิดจากเงื่อนไขของกระบวนการทางเทคนิคและเกิดจากปฏิกิริยาของสีที่มีผลต่อการสัมผัสรับรู้ทางสายตา ภายในโครงสร้างของรูปทรงหลักที่ไม่แสดงตัวตนหรือขอบเขตทางกายภาพที่ชัดเจนอันเป็นกายภาพของผลงานในแบบ 2 มิติ เจตนาก็เพื่อต้องการให้เกิดการกระตุ้นการรับรู้ที่จะนำไปสู่การสร้างจินตนาการของผู้ดูที่จะเชื่อมโยงไปสู่สภาวะนามธรรม โดยมุ่งหวังไว้ว่า สีและสัญลักษณ์ รูปทรง ลวดลายต่างๆ สามารถที่จะนำพาจินตนาการให้ก่อเกิดความรู้สึกถึงความสงบสุขและความศรัทธา ตามความเชื่อเดิมที่มีอยู่แล้ว ในทางปรัชญาแห่งโลกตะวันออก แม้จะอาศัยหลักทฤษฎีการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปกรรมตามแบบของโลกตะวันตกก็ตาม Natural environment, symbolic cultural form, color of Thai architecture, Thai life style reflecting Thai unique refinement, delicateness and values, conveyance of Thai abstract substances under eastern paradigm and philosophy which brings about tranquility, as well as Buddhist faith. All these are inspiration for the artist to create the artwork of “Color of Faith and Serenity.” The work is created from impressions on the relation between light and colors. The artist especially emphasizes color atmosphere which forms up the meaning of visual elements. The formation of mixing and overlapping colors in various contexts with simple geometry forms is similar to the design and symbols of Thai artworks. The formation begins from small units and becomes color print of silkscreen - namely from visual elements of visual art to color atmosphere, giving the feeling of vibration. The conditions of the technique process and color reaction affect visual sensation through the structure of main forms without clear identity or physical limitation, becoming a physical base of 2 dimensioned artwork. The purpose of this work is to stimulate visual sensation which will bring about the audience’s imagination leading to abstract conditions. The artist hopes that colors and symbols, shapes, and designs will lead the audience’s imagination to the feeling of serenity and faith based on existing beliefs and eastern philosophy, although the work is created with western art creation theory
